This Prairieville backyard project included two connected improvements: a framed storage area and an extended aluminum cover system.

Instead of simply replacing the original 6 ft. x 12 ft. cover with another structure of the same size, the project created a more useful layout. For the storage portion of the project, Southern Home Improvement Center installed 2x4 pressure-treated wood framing.

OSB sheathing was also installed on the inside of the two framed walls.

Framed Openings for Doors and Window

The storage area was framed for two 36-inch doors and one 36-inch by 36-inch window.
